ADV RiderCourse

  • You must already have your motorcycle endorsement/license

  • You may bring your own ADV motorcycle (we will also have loaners on site) for the class and you must provide your own riding gear (long sleeves or jacket, sturdy long pants, 3/4 or full-face helmet, eye protection, gloves, and boots)

  • All off-road riding

  • Professionally trained and MSF-Certified teachers

  • Courses are held at: Hartsville ADV

  • The ADV Course focuses your learning on body position, throttle and brake control on flat surfaces first - to build your skill and confidence before ADVenturing out to hills and trails!

This 1-day course is held on a dirt riding area and includes both riding and discussions. We will cover 12 fundamental skills for off-road riding. Topics include riding on low-traction surfaces with an emphasis on body positioning and rider-active control techniques needed for off-road environments.
No prior off-road riding experience is needed, but you must be a licensed rider with an Adventure Bike (ADV) and have experience riding it on the street.

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation AdventureBike RiderCourse is designed to be an effective and enjoyable training and education experience for participants who have basic street skills on an adventure motorcycle (ADV).
